Lehigh Valley Family Photographer | Amanda + Brandon
I’d like to think of myself as the person who can hang with just about any crowd. In high school, I didn’t really have a friend circle - I made an effort to befriend everyone and pretty much got along with all of my peers in every social group. After graduating college and moving to the Lehigh Valley, I developed a close-knit group of friends as several of us lived near one another and as a result, we were able to retain and strengthen our friendships.
That being said, there are a few people in my life that I don’t get to see as often as I’d like, simply because we live far apart and our lives are consumed by work, spouses, family, and kids and/or pets. Sound familiar? Welcome to your late twenties! Although we may only meet for lunch or a drink a few times a year, we pick up exactly where we left off and we don’t miss a beat in conversation.
Amanda and I are these people, and we’re totally okay with it. When we do meet, we have so much to discuss, and it’s great to be able to catch up on each other’s lives.
I vividly remember the day Amanda told me she met Brandon. This girl was completely head over heels in love, which was so surprising because they had only just met a few weeks prior. I could tell just from our conversation that this guy would be the real deal. So it wasn’t a complete surprise when Brandon popped the question a few months later!
I was incredibly excited that Amanda and Brandon chose me as the photographer for their engagement session. It’s no lie that family photography is my passion, but every now and then it’s great to spice things up and get visually creative with a couple’s session. We chose a wooded location nestled in the foothills of the Poconos in a small town where we all grew up. The mid-October weather was cool and the air crisp, with Autumn’s fall colors vivid with full intensity.
It’s no secret that these two are completely obsessed with each other. Their engagement session was so much fun and lively, with constant laughter and jokes filling the space between us. Amanda and Brandon barely needed any direction when it came to the romantic stuff. Their natural interaction is just absolutely incredible, and I was lucky to be able to capture their love behind my camera. Scroll down below to take a peek at my favorites from this session!
